Process & Materials
Jars & Tins
- All candle vessels we use are reusable and recyclable. Whenever possible, we use jars that are reclaimed, or created from recycled glass.
Soy Wax
- Soy wax is a natural alternative to other wax types, like paraffin, which is a petroleum derivative.
- Soy candles burn at a lower temperature than paraffin candles, and can last up to 50% longer.
- Soy candles produce less soot than other wax types, and do not increase CO2 levels.
Essential Oils
- We use essential oils as they are the most natural way to scent a candle.
- Essential oils provide an aromatherapy aspect to your candles or wax melts.
- Certified fair trade and organic.
Clean Fragrance Oils
- We use clean fragrance oils for scent blends that cannot be replicated with essential oils.
- "Clean" refers to the absence of harmful parabens and phthalates, making them safe for you and the planet.
Bio-Glitter
- Made from eucalyptus cellulose! Say bye to plastic glitter, and hello to those sparkly candles and wax melts.
- Biodegrades naturally in water, and is consumed by organisms that break down other water-degradable materials.
Crystals & Herbs
- All crystals and herbs used for decorations are purchased from other local small businesses!
Wicks
- Cotton and wood wicks can be composted!
- Please recycle metal base.
Wax Melt Packaging
- All wax melt packaging is created from plant starch, and can be composted after use.
Seed Covers
- These dust covers have another purpose - they contain seeds for wildflowers which are native to North America. Plant them and watch them grow!
